Machines Replace People

The World Economic Forum has predicted that by 2025, half of the jobs will be done by machines.

According to the BBC, the International Foundation has published a report on the “robot revolution.”

The report said the” robot revolution ” would create 97 million jobs worldwide but leave a large number of people out of work.

The report, which examined 300 large companies that employ 8 million people around the world, estimated that by 2025, half of the jobs will be done by machines, which will worsen inequality.

It was stated that the jobs most threatened are routine or manual tasks in data processing with management, while new jobs will appear in the areas of maintenance, big data and the Yesil economy.

More than half of employers in the companies surveyed said they expected to accelerate automation, while 43 percent said they believed they would make technology-related layoffs.

The World Economic Forum pointed out that the outbreak of the new type of coronavirus (Kovid-19) has accelerated the adoption process of new technologies, which will deepen the inequalities that exist in job markets.
